Homecoming 2012 (ok so i'm a little late)

This is how today went:

• i put out aubri's medication, vitamin and a glass of water
• i made aubri's lunch, just the way she likes it
• i ordered aubri new basketball shoes and nike sports bra ($129.32)
• i gave aubri my kohl's and younkers credit card to get a homecoming dress and earrings ($32 and $7)

"business after hours" downtown negaunee

Business after hours is when businesses stay open until 7pm. It's nice because you don't always get to these stores because they close at 5 and i work til 5. They had food, wine, beer and drawings.

I am so proud of my son, today he left the house for school at 7 a.m. His professor said they could start taking their test at 7:30 instead of 8 when the class starts. He is like a new kid this semester and i am so happy

Tyler and I took a ride to camp to get the last of the metal from my grandfather's personal dump. it started to rain on our way out there, of course. Tyler and i talked all the way out there, laughed as we almost killed ourselves a few times climbing the slippery hill to dig for some of this crap. I really enjoyed the one on one time i had with him.

he turned in the metal the next day and got $58! He was happy and i was glad that the last of the crap was gone from camp, ok thats not the last of it.

We had a party for gram tonight, she will be 95 on the 21st, holy sh!t ! (btw that has been one of her favorite words for as long as i can remember, "it's slang not a swear word")

all day today i kept saying how i hope she has a good day and is in a good mood for at least a 1/2 hour at her party. Well you were in a great mood for your whole party. You were wondering where kathy's twins were.  You knew Nora, Kathy, Amy, Emmett & myself by name. You asked me where my "little ones" were and i told you they were at home.

I helped you open your presents and i told you that beth gave you new socks and you said "they opened a new shop?" and i laughed. I also stopped you from eating a napkin, thanks for the great party gram, i love you....
