Guido

This is my friend Guido and he makes me laugh so hard every time we get together! We went to a small park/petting zoo and this was one of the rides. You pull yourself up, let go of the rope and you drop (it's not a very fast descent at all but still fun!).  It is from our (Sheena and I) trip to Germany in October 2008, it is one of my favorite clips!

A boy and his dog - Part I (1994-95)

This is Tyler and his dog Jasmine...she loved him from the first time she saw him!

A boy and his dog - Part II (1994-95)

This is Tyler and Holly...she was a little nervous about Tyler and we had to keep our eye on her!

Great-Grandma & Great-Grandpa Hoiem

Tyler sure was the apple of his Great-Grandpa's eye...he could do no wrong!

Tyler - age 4 (1998)

The sign reads "Did you know? An average 4 year old child asks 437 questions in one day"...that is oh so true!

Derick - ROCK ON!!!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Derick...he was letting me take some pictures/video of him playing one day and I think this smile is just for me! (at least that's what I think)

Lola and Martha in the snow....

Our dogs are so crazy! Lola is always burying her face in the snow...

Jan. 22 - 25, NCO b-ball tourney

Aubri is # 51... Go NETS!

Thank you Haley & Lara...

I am so glad that I finally started this blog! I have to thank my 2 friends/coworkers - if they didn't have blogs, I would never have thought about doing this for my friends & family. Thank you Haley & Lara...I hope you are enjoying your snow day, too!

YEAH - it's a snow day!

Yeah...it's a snow day! NMU is closed today due to inclement weather, I love when the Brrr line lady says that! The kids and I are at home today, it's really not that nice outside! This is the second week in a row that we've had a snow day (last week we were off on Thursday!). My dogs Martha (the one with a black and light brown coat) and Lola (the Labradoodle) LOVE the snow and are also glad we are home

Tylers shelf & most recent wood project

This is Tyler's most recent project that he has brought home from school. It is a shelf with knobs to hold jackets. He did such a great job on this, if you look close on the first picture you can see all the detail....now I just have to find the perfect place to hang it!

Tyler's folding table

Tyler made this folding table in woods class at school, it has a lot of folding parts on it. He must get his wood skills from his Great-Grandpa Hoiem & Great- Grandpa Baldock!

Tyler's metal shop projects

Tyler made these in metal shop. The first one holds a hot dish, rather than just using a hot pad! I just love the napkin holder he made, he did that in metal shop also!
