social networks

I started my blog to keep a virtual "baby book" or scrapbook of my clan. I really prefer it over Hatebook, i mean Facebook. I joined Facebook to re-connect with friends i graduated High School with because being a military brat we really ended up all over. Also it is the easiest was to stay in touch with my "family" in Germany! Blogging is very addicting & i refer to it as blog porn (thanks Haley). You can click on someones link and then another and another and all of a sudden you are reading a blog in Russia (or looking at the pictures in my case).

I can post about things i want to post about and if someone doesn't like it too bad, it's MY BLOG! I typically refrain from subjects such as religion or politics. People who really know me know why. With the upcoming election i need to speak my peace. I believe religion is important and that is why i brought all 4 of my kids to sunday school every sunday until confirmation. Dropping them off and picking them off, 2 years in a row i even dropped them off an hour early because of the time change. yeah, they didn't think it was funny. When they were confirmed that is when i let them decide if they wanted to go or not. Now 1 out of 4 of them are regular attendees at church, that 1 is Sheena. She by the way, just won the Lynn Norell Scholarship at Mitchell which is great. Lynn would be proud to grant that to Sheena as she is deserving (as is her cousin who was a co-winner in that scholarship).

I also try to keep my blog light and positive because that is really how i want to live. Life is too short to dwell on issues and constantly be negative. IT.SUCKS.THE.LIFE.OUT.OF.A.PERSON! I don't have very many followers and rarely receive comments but then again that is not why i am doing this.

What i have noticed in blogging and Facebook is the comments. People constantly commenting on the same subject or commenting on something that has no relevance to the picture or conversation or just rude comments because it's virtual. Really? i guess this is the part of social networking that gets on my effing nerves.  Then on the other hand i think of one of my favorite quotes "happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same - Francesca Reigler".

I know what the problem is it's ME! i allow the ass monkeys of the world to suck me in & piss me off, i have a solution. IGNORE it all, awwww so simple. I read this blog, you should too & pray for her, if that's your thing http://www.amistillagirl.com/  i am worried about this complete stranger and am thankful for my health
