Beautiful artwork...

Okay so I just found this beautiful picture in a pile I brought to get laminated! Check out the artist/date...

Cupboard doors...

These were such a great find! So I was at my Grandma's house and had to go into the work shop and I noticed these! Steven is building a bunk house at camp for extra sleeping for all the families! These originally hung in the camper where the garage is now. I was going to toss the plastic yellow and white checked trim but Aubri just loved it so I washed it all and put it back together. Steven is going to build a cupboard in the new bunkhouse but he will use these for the doors!

Grandma & Grandpa Hoiem's pictures...

I am sure everyone has seen these pictures somewhere along there travels. These 2 have hung above my Grandma's bed for as long as I can remember. Well they have come down off the walls and I put them in nice wood frames (instead of the white plastic ones they were in). They will be heading to our family camp on Lake
Arfelin to hang in the bedroom there!

Pillow for my friend Kathy...

First of all I hope I don't offend anyone! My friend Kathy sent me (she copied and mailed it to me, wow, that doesn't happen very often!) an article written by Lisa Kogan. I don't know what magazine it was from but it was a great article. In the article there is a picture of herself holding a pillow and quilted on it says "what doesn't kill me does not make me stronger". Towards the end of the article she has changed it to say "what doesn't kill me does not make me stronger. It makes me anxious, bitchy and vulnerable" but nobody wants to see that on a pillow. Well my friend Kathy highlighted that and said she loved that pharse! So here is what she is getting for her birthday (this is my first embroidered pillow so it's not perfect!)

Tyler is in drivers ed....

I can't believe Tyler is in drivers ed! That really makes me feel old :) Aubri stood outside waiting for him to drive down from the High School so she could take pictures of him in the Student Drivers car...those pictures will be posted soon!

Aubri's quilts

Aubri posing with the first quilt I made her (& Grandpa Emmett's shop glasses) and her t-shirt quilt! There's even a furry piece from her "Toto" costume I had to make for her for Halloween!

Sheena's quilts & duvet cover (with matching pillow case)

The first quilt I made for Sheena is the one she is posing with. My mother had so much fabric that I had enough scraps to make 5 quilts (one for each of my children and 1 for my friend Heidi)! The other quilt is her t-shirt quilt and the duvet cover is a patch quilt made with fabric she picked out!
